Dice with Ellen is a new PvP iPhone game featuring comedian and low-key mobile gaming mogul Ellen DeGeneres. Your goal in this game is to roll dice for specific number combinations, many of which are similar to what you’ll find in poker, and score more points than your opponent. Sounds simple enough but there’s a lot of strategy behind earning the highest point totals. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dice with Ellen!
Try to fill out the right side of the board before you do anything else. The 4 and 5 of a kind are the toughest to roll, with the large straight and the full house being up there as well, and the points are the same for those no matter which numbers are used to make the combo. The exception is with 3 and 4 of a kind which are affected by the size of the number used to make the combo. In contrast, the points on the left side are based on how many of each specific number you roll.
The 1 and 2 combos, and to a lesser extent the 3 combo, are great for throwaway rolls that don’t give you any better combinations. Aside from the five-a-palooza bonus, there are very few points in rolling even a large 1 or 2 combo, so there is no point in trying for higher numbers in those. Combos of 5 and 6, on the other hand, are great opportunities to earn large amounts of points.

Diamonds and rerolls are the two currencies of the game. Diamonds can be commonly earned in the event tournaments listed at the top of the main game menu. You can watch as many of these advertisements as you want for as long as you’re willing to grind it out for more rerolls.
Play the tournaments and play against Ellen’s cast and crew if you want constant play rather than one-at-a-time play. These are typically a once-per-day thing unless you are willing to pay rerolls to re-enter or to enter new tournaments.

Ship, Captain, Squad & CargoThe object of the mini game is to be the user with the highest score after a single round.Every user receive to roll the dice up to three times to receive his final score. In his turn a user tries to roll a 6 (the ship), a 5 (the captain), and a 4 (the squad). These numbers, when rolled, are set aside and are not rolled by the user once more except that they must be rolled in order, so that a 5 and 4 cannot be kept until a 6 has been rolled, and a 4 cannot be kept until a 6 and a 5 have been rolled.Once the user has managed to roll a 6, 5, and a 4 then the remaining two dice (the cargo) are added together to determine the player's score.Two is the lowest possible cargo in the mini game & twelve is the highest.If a user does not roll a 6, 5 and 4 with their three rolls, then they score zero points.It's possible that the user will roll the 6, 5 and 4 in only one or two rolls. If this is the case then the user has the option of using their remaining rolls to re-roll both of the cargo dice to test and achieve a higher score. If they select to roll once more, they must hold the total of the fresh roll even if it is lower than their latest score.Once all users have had a turn, the user with the highest score is the Wins and receives the entire pot. In case of a tie, the house keeps the pot.
